Former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) lost again in her third lawsuit against The New York Times.
The jury found the Times was not liable for a 2017 error, New York Daily News courts reporter Molly Crane-Newman posted on X Tuesday afternoon.
"NEWS: The New York Times has been cleared of wrongdoing in former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s defamation suit for the third time in as many years," wrote Crane-Newman.
Palin lost her first lawsuit against the paper in 2022, claiming that an incorrect editorial unlawfully smeared her. The 2025 case "remains the same," quipped The Guardian, describing the case.

The new case allowed Palin a retrial over "procedural errors rather than factual questions," the report noted.
"The U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals revamped Palin’s case in 2024, having determined that Judge Jed Rakoff wrongly intruded on jurors’ decision-making," the report said.
Crane-Newman stated that the jury deliberated for fewer than three hours.
