'Why are they so scared?' Lawmaker accuses Mike Johnson of 'massive Epstein cover-up'
Mike Johnson is a "liar" and Republican citizens are pushing for Jeffrey Epstein transparency amid Mike Johnson's "massive Epstein cover-up," according to a Democratic lawmaker.
Congressman Robert Garcia (CA-42) appeared on MSNBC over the weekend, where he talked about what he is hearing from everyday voters.
After saying he sees citizens pushing Republicans to negotiate on healthcare in connection with the shutdown, Garcia said, "The second thingthat they're all very clearabout is that this Epsteinfiles that Donald Trump and Mike Johnson are now involvedin with a massive coverup, areclearly on the minds of Republicans."
He added, "And voters on theground are also asking thequestion, why won't they seat Adelita Grijalva? Why won'tthey? Why are they so scared ofwhat's in the Epstein files?It's almost as if they shutdown the government and arewilling to keep it shut down,because they actually don'twant the Epstein files to bereleased to the public."
