Sean Spicer ready to start his TV career -- and CNN couldn't care less

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer may have vacated the press shop podium, but he's not been forgotten. Unfortunately for him, that might be bad for his future job prospects.

According to a Politico report, Spicer dashed any opportunity he had to become a contributor with CNN during his time at the White House due to the .

"CNN has said that it will not add him as a contributor because of credibility issues related to statements he made from the White House Briefing Room," the Politico report states.

Fox News hasn't yet offered Spicer a contract, though they have "expressed some interest" in bringing him on.

Despite the seeming snubs from major networks, however, Spicer is, according to a friend, "doing just fine." He reportedly has two "traditional" and three "nontraditional" potential TV jobs brewing, along with "several exciting and lucrative consultancies — foreign and domestic" and "multiple interested publishers."
