Seth Meyers crushes Trump: His ‘crooked little boner for first responders’ didn’t help Puerto Rico

During Tuesday night's episode of Late Night, host Seth Meyers offered up an unappealing mental image when discussing President Donald Trump’s response to the disaster emerging in the American territory of Puerto Rico.

"Hey, it took you a full week before you even sent someone to check out the situation," Meyers said, referencing the president. "For a guy for such a crooked little boner for first responders, you sure are the last responder."

Meyers was likely referencing Trump's speech honoring 9/11 first responders on the 16th anniversary of the tragedy in his hometown earlier this month.

"You're like the guy who says he'll help his friend move and then just shows up at the end with pizza," he continued.
