'Sexist bullying assh*le reveals himself to be sexist bullying assh*le': Savage rolls eyes at GOP shocked by Trump

Sex columnist Dan Savage was relentless in his attacks on President Donald Trump during Friday's "Real Time with Bill Maher." But more, Savage was disgusted by enabling Republicans, who keep waiting for Trump to pivot to be a good president.

"Sexist bullying assh*le reveals himself to be sexist bullying assh*le," Savage said.

Maher agreed, wondering how it is possible that the recent scandal with MSNBC's "Morning Joe" host Mika Brzezinski is now suddenly "the straw that broke the camel's back" when there have been a parade of deplorable comments that came before it.

Savage thinks that the kicker was that all of the disgraceful statements from Trump came before he held the Office of the President. Now that he occupies the White House, it is beneahth him as well as beneath the country.

"It has a different quality when the president does the exact same thing he did as a candidate," Savage said. "People keep hoping he's going to do something more presidential -- how many times have we heard people on TV say 'Oh, tonight he became president?' Well, tonight he became the assh*le he's always been. Or, again."
