Police: Memphis church shooting not connected to Charleston church attack
A gunman reportedly shot at a church near Memphis, CBS 46 reports, but police do not believe the shooting was connected to the recent attack on a church in South Carolina.
On Thursday morning, police arrived at the St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church on Pendleton Street after one of the church's pastors reported finding a bullet hole in the front door of the building.
No one was injured during the shooting. It's unclear when the shot was fired.
