Soon you'll be able to know everyone who's visiting Trump at Mar-a-Lago

President Donald Trump's administration will soon be getting a little more transparent, thanks to a nonprofit government transparency watchdog.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) announced on Monday that it is obtaining visitor logs from Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort and will start releasing them on September 8.

"The public deserves to know who is coming to meet with the president and his staff," CREW Executive Director Noah Bookbinder said. "We are glad that as a result of this case, this information will become public for meetings at his personal residences."

Even though the Department of Homeland Security will release visitor logs from Mar-a-Lago, the government is still refusing to release official White House visitor logs, which was something the Obama administration starting doing in September 2009 to help settle lawsuits brought by CREW.

CREW says that it is still trying to obtain White House visitor logs, as well as visitor logs for Trump Tower.
