Steve Schmidt destroys Lindsey Graham as a ‘professional sidekick’ — and a bigger ‘fraud’ than Mike Pence

Former Republican strategist Steve Schmidt blasted Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) as a "titanic fraud" for his obsequious loyalty to President Donald Trump.

Schmidt tweeted out a harsh criticism early Wednesday of the South Carolina Republican after Esquire editor Maximillian Potter shared the former Republican's column from last week that called out Graham as "corrupted by ambition."

"It turns out Lindsey is a titanic fraud," Schmidt tweeted. "A fraud of Pence-ian dimensions. A small man lacking integrity and principals. He is a professional sidekick, The type of man who likes motorcycles but lacks the upper body strength to control one and thus is consigned to the side car."

Schmidt wasn't finished, and he accused Graham of faking outrage over the sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.

"His ludicrous affectation and faux outrage at the hearings was a moment of beclownment that knows no equal," Schmidt tweeted. "He is a political careerist and an unequaled sycophant when it comes to finding favor with power. He is a disgrace."

He tagged Graham to make sure the senator would see his comments.
