Stewart: No winning in GOP health care 'carnival game'

For the past year, Republicans' demands for supporting health care reform have been a moving target. Jon Stewart has a simple question for the so-called party of no: "What the fuck do you really want?"

Republican leaders called for health care reforms negotiations to be televised but changed their tune after President Barack Obama invited them to a summit to be carried live on C-SPAN.

"The Democrats spell summit S-E-T-U-P," complained Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN).

To allay Republican fears, the White House released details about the summit on their website days before it was scheduled. Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) seemed oblivious to the document when she took to the House floor to explain her fears ten days later.

"Do we even know who is going to be in attendance at the summit? Do we know the format of this summit?" she asked.

"Either that lady doesn't have an internet connection or she never learned how to read," observed Stewart.

Stewart asked rhetorically, "There's really no winning at this carnival game, is there?"

But why do Democrats even need Republicans to buy in to their plans when reconciliation can be used to pass reform with only 51 votes? Jon Stewart has the answer. "Democrats are p*ssies."

But at the same time, the headline and logo for the segment, "Summit's Eve", referring to the women's feminine care product "Summer's Eve" pretty much summed up Stewart's feelings about both sides of the argument.
