President Donald Trump shared a post from conservative podcaster Tim Pool on Truth Social suggesting Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett is "clearly terrified of the left."
Pool's post referenced a viral claim alleging Barrett's voting alignment with other conservative justices dropped from 81% to between 50-60% following the Dobbs v. Jackson decision.
The underlying claim originated from an anonymous right-wing account and cited Barrett's shifting voting patterns as evidence of ideological wavering. However, X's community notes fact-checking service flagged the claim as inaccurate and cited publicly available Supreme Court data showing Barrett voted with conservative justices at higher rates than the viral post suggested.
Trump's endorsement reflects his growing public criticism of the Supreme Court, despite the institution delivering numerous judicial victories to his administration alongside some notable defeats on his agenda.
Justice Amy Coney Barrett was nominated by Trump in 2020.
