The father of a 7-year-old Tennessee girl said that he caught another man in the act of attempting to rape his daughter.
The New York Daily News reported Wednesday that the unidentified Hendersonville man walked in just as 21-year-old Sebastian Alonzo -- who had been staying in the family's home -- attacked the girl in an attempt to sexually assault her.
It's not clear what the father did, exactly, but in his mugshot from the Hendersonville Police Department, Alonzo is sporting a freshly blackened eye.
The Tennessean said that Alonzo was charged with one count of attempted rape of a child. His bond was set at $250,000. He is due in court on June 22.
