‘Texas is watching.’ Reparations meeting attracts those placing their hopes in California

OAKLAND, Calif. — Baraka Davis traveled from Texas to deliver her message to California’s Reparations Task Force Wednesday. “Texas is watching each and every one of you,” she said.
