'The View' nails Kellyanne Conway for backing Roy Moore after getting 'hooha-grabber-in-chief' elected

While appearing on Tuesday's episode of "The View," Republican consultant Ana Navarro said that she was disappointed in the Alabama GOP for refusing to put morality before party. It prompted an outpouring of criticism from all of the women about President Donald Trump's senior advisor Kellyanne Conway, who refused to denounce Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore in a Monday interview.

First, the women were shocked that so many men who are accused, continue to deny the allegations. While Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) confessed, apologized profusely and asked for his own investigation, Navarro noted that President Donald Trump was caught on camera bragging about it and still denied it.

Co-host Joy Behar commented that Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) withdrew his support of Trump after the "Access Hollywood" tape surfaced but that he's been remarkably silent on Moore. Navarro said that Ryan as well as Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) have denounced Moore and pulled support.

"It's the Republican Party in Alabama that's sticking by him," Navarro continued. "The Republican governor of Alabama."

Behar noted that the GOP still continues to stick by Trump as the president, despite the "Access Hollywood" tape and more than 20 accusers.

"Yesterday the governor of Alabama said listen, 'We need those votes,'" said co-host Whoopi Goldberg. "And then Kellyanne came out and said, 'Well yeah, we wanted to pass this tax bill. So, basically what they're saying, it sounds like to me -- and if I'm wrong, I'm sure somebody will tell me -- but you're basically saying 'I don't care what he did to you. I want to get this tax bill passed.' And if that is, in fact how you feel, bye! Because I think women are not taking this anymore. Women are not playing with you here."

Co-host Sunny Hostin reinforced that the issue was about child molestation, and asked "how do you put the party before children?"

"Sunny! We gotta hooha-grabber-in-chief in the Oval Office!" Navarro cut in. "That's how you do it. This is right out of Donald Trump's campaign playbook. Donald Trump said that what his campaign and what he said to people is, 'Look I'm going to appoint a conservative Supreme Court Justice,' and he has. And therefore, 'Vote for me no matter what because that's more important than anything.'"

Behar noted that Conway is the mother of daughters and blasted the Trump aide, saying, "she should be ashamed of herself."

In an earlier segment, Hostin discussed the allegations facing Charlie Rose, noting that at least one of the accusers approached Rose's female producer and was ignored. Hostin was furious that there were women covering for men accused of misconduct and harassment.

Navarro called it nothing more than "a pathetic attempt at dominance by insecure men." Given the allegations stacking up against men on television, Navarro quipped that the women of "The View" might be all that's left.
