Third ricin letter threatens Obama over 'God-given' gun rights

The Secret Service on Thursday reportedly intercepted the third in a series of ricin-tainted letters threatening violence over any new gun control measures.
Two other letters were received by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Friday and the Bloomberg-supported Mayors Against Illegal Guns on Sunday.
WNBC's Jonathan Dienst told MSNBC's Jonathan Roberts on Thursday that law enforcement officials had confirmed that a third letter had been intercepted by the Secret Service before it reached President Barack Obama. Dienst said that the same person in Shreveport, Louisiana appeared to be the sender of all three threats.
According to the WNBC website, all three letters state: "You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns. Anyone wants to come to my house will get shot in the face. The right to bear arms is my constitutional God given right and I will exercise that right till the day I die."
"What's in this letter is nothing compared to what I've got planned for you," the mailings warn.
The Violence Policy Center determined in 2010 that Louisiana had the highest rate of gunfire deaths in the nation.
