Even though we've known for a long time that Donald Trump's presidential campaign is a landfill inferno, it still finds new ways to surprise us on a regular basis.
Case in point: St. Louis-based news station KMOV 4 is reporting that Trump's campaign office in Jefferson County, Colorado is literally being run by a 12-year-old boy named Weston Imer.
This is particularly strange because, as KMOV notes, "Jefferson County is one of the most populous counties in Colorado and is part of the Denver metro area."
Although Imer's mother Laurel is the official campaign coordinator for the Jefferson County office, she decided to give him the responsibility of running the shop as a way to demonstrate to other parents how they could get their own kids involved in politics.
"You have a responsibility to your children to teach them," she explained to KMOV.
As for Weston, he thinks he has a bright political future ahead and projects that he'll run his first presidential campaign in 2040, when he'll try to recruit Donald Trump's son Barron as his running mate.
While Weston is obviously a very impressive young man for handling the duties of running a campaign office in a key swing county, it's also highly unusual and not something you see in congressional races, let alone in a presidential campaign.
