‘This is too much’: Fox News’ Shep Smith gobsmacked by ever-growing Virginia scandal

On Thursday, Fox News host Shep Smith said that the unfolding news plaguing Virginia is too much to bear.

"Another day, another racist revelation," Smith said.

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam was scrutinized after he refused to resign once a photo of him in Blackface or a KKK mask surfaced. Northam, later denied that he was in the photo after apologizing for it.

Shortly after, Virginia Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax was accused of sexual assault.

In addition, Senator Tommy Norment was criticized for working as the yearbook editor at Virginia Military Institute, where the pages were filled with racist photos and slurs.

"This is too much. I mean, it is too many names. It is too many occurrences. It is too many instances. It's too many lawyers. It's too many accusations. It's too much," Smith said.
