'This wad of cash is one pound': Colbert ridicules Trump’s ‘convenient’ weight result from his White House doctor

CBS "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert on Tuesday mocked the remarkable coincidence that President Donald Trump was just shy of being labeled medically obese.

“There has been a whole lot of talk about Donald Trump’s fitness for office lately, what with the book and everything that's out there and the rumors," Colbert acknowledged.

"With the president being six foot three inches, 239 pounds, according to the body mass index put forth by the federal Health and Human Services department, Trump is overweight and just one pound shy of obesity," Colbert noted.

“One pound short of being obese?” he wondered. “That’s awfully convenient.”

Colbert then did his Trump impersonation, saying, “Listen, doc, I don’t want to be obese, but I feel like this wad of cash is about one pound. Why don’t you take this off my hands and weigh me again, OK?”

The question of "girtherism" and whether Trump measures as claimed.
