'Kill me or put me in prison': Convicted election denier vows to keep smearing Dominion
August 13, 2024
The former clerk of Colorado's Mesa County vowed to continue attacking Dominion Voting Systems until she was killed or imprisoned after being convicted on charges related to election tampering earlier this week.
In a Tuesday interview on Real America's Voice, War Room guest host Ben Harnwell asked Peters if she expected to be imprisoned while she appeals her conviction on seven counts, including three counts of attempting to influence a public servant and one count of first-degree official misconduct, violation of duty and failure to comply with an order from the Secretary of State.
According to prosecutors, Peters used her authority to allow a man to gain unauthorized access to a voting machine. Copies of the machine's software and passwords were later posted online to support a false conspiracy theory about the 2020 presidential election being hacked.
Harnwell noted that Peters will face sentencing on October 3 and that some of the charges carry terms of up to 22 years in prison.
"Are you likely to have to go to prison whilst the appeal works out?" Harnwell asked.
"Who knows with these people?" Peters replied. "I mean, they haven't followed the law, so it's hard to predict what they'll do. I am a big threat to them."

The former clerk promised to continue her fight.
"And in the meantime, until they either kill me or put me in prison, you know, I'm going to keep speaking out about the injustice, about what's going on in these big multinational global corporations that have these vote-flipping software that basically is in Serbia," she opined.
"We've already shown that people in my, that I'm accused of influencing, there's emails between them and Serbia, and Serbian Dominion employees," she said, referencing Dominion Voting Systems which is pursuing several defamation lawsuits regarding unfounded election fraud claims.
"So it's just, it's a bigger deal than people realize," she added.
