'Get the hell off the stage': MAGA rally speaker claims Trump booted him mid-speech

Former Gov. Tommy Thompson (R-WI) announced mid-speech Tuesday that he had gotten a call from former President Donald Trump telling him to "get the hell off the stage."

During a rally in Waunakee, Thompson gave a fiery speech about how Trump could win the state.

"God, I love you!" Thompson shouted at the crowd. "And my two young granddaughters who are here with their MAGA hats on, stand up and be counted."

"So, ladies and gentlemen, I just got a call. Trump says get the hell off the stage," he revealed. "God love you. God love the Republicans. God love Donald J. Trump, the next President of the United States!"

"God love Wisconsin, and God love the United States of America! Let's take it back, ladies and gentlemen, let's do it!" he exclaimed before stepping down from the podium.
