An angry President Donald Trump on Wednesday fired off a series of tweets as the House Judiciary Committee debating whether to hold Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt of Congress.
Trump began by tweeting about segments that aired earlier in the day on "Fox & Friends" about special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. After posting a quote about the investigation from co-host Ainsley Earhardt, Trump declared the entire probe a "TREASONOUS HOAX!"
The president then quoted an attack on former British spy Christopher Steele that was leveled by "Fox & Friends" co-host Brian Kilmeade.
After this, Trump retweeted his earlier statements in which he brushed off reports that he had managed to lose $1 billion over the span of a decade.
