Trump targets progressive Dem’s wife amid online posting frenzy

President Donald Trump appeared to target the wife of Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed on Saturday, part of a social media blitz that saw him publish 17 posts in under two hours.

Posting on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump shared an image comparing himself and First Lady Melania Trump to El-Sayed and his wife, Sarah Jukaku.

The image bears the caption: “Two VERY DIFFERENT America’s,” and shows Trump and Mrs. Trump in formal attire, whereas Jukaku is seen wearing a traditional Islamic headscarf. The image also uses El-Sayed’s full name – Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed – in a manner similar to how Trump often refers to former President Barack Obama as Barack Hussein Obama.

In the same posting spree, Trump also shared two images of what he’s suggested to be vandalism to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool – a claim he's made repeatedly without evidence, and one his own handpicked prosecutor has since said isn't true.

Trump also shared three images of his proposed “Drone Port,” which he’s claimed will be constructed on top of the in-progress White House Ballroom, along with posts boasting about his golf clubs and statue renovations.

Saturday's spree is consistent with a broader pattern that has defined Trump's second term.

A Financial Times analysis found Trump averaged 19 Truth Social posts per day through the first several months of 2026, with a Daily Beast analysis putting his May output at 861 posts and reposts, or roughly 27 per day. His posting has periodically spiked into concentrated late-night bursts, including a December 2025 stretch in which he published 158 times between 9 p.m. and midnight.
