'Trump acts like an angry grandpa yelling at the TV' -- and we are doomed: Seth Meyers

On Monday, comedian Seth Meyers mocked President Donald Trump after he went off on an unprecedented Twitter storm over the weekend.

Trump tweeted about a range of topics from the late Senator John McCain to a re-run episode of Saturday Night Live.

"Well its another Monday which means the president and America had a quiet weekend full of sober reflection and everyone sleep well and woke up refreshed and optimists, and I'm just kidding he's brain is silly putty and we are all doomed," Meyers said.

Trump tweeted over 50 times throughout the weekend.

"Jesus his tweets would make more sense if they were scribbled on the wall of a psych ward," he said.

Meyers added, "Trump acts like an angry grandpa yelling at the TV to bring back his favorite shows."
