Trump angry that people take CNN seriously when Fox News is 'MUCH more important'

President Donald Trump tweeted on Saturday that he doesn't understand why CNN is taken seriously all over the world when Fox News -- the network that effectively functions as the propaganda arm of his administration -- is "much more important."

"Fox News is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly. The outside world does not see the truth from them!" said Trump from his Mar-a-Lago golf resort in Florida.

As one Twitter user said, "I'm afraid you've been misinformed."

According to nonpartisan fact-checking agency PolitiFact, only 37 percent of statements made on Fox News qualify as "true" (17 percent) or "mostly true" (20 percent). Fifty percent of statements made on the network are rated as "false," with 35 percent of statements being "mostly false" and 17 percent of statements so blatantly false as to qualify for a "pants on fire" rating.

Former FBI Director James Comey fired back at the president with a tweet of his own.
