Trump-appointed judge delays ruling on White House ban of CNN's Jim Acosta for second day in a row

A Trump-appointed judge on Thursday created a second delay in CNN's case against the White House for revoking the press credentials of CNN's Jim Acosta.

On Wednesday, Judge Timothy J. Kelly said that he would wait until Thursday at 3 p.m. before deciding whether or not to issue a temporary restraining order against the White House after it suspended Acosta's credentials for being "rude" to President Donald Trump.

By Thursday afternoon, Judge Kelly once again moved his deadline, according to a court document.

The case is now continued until 10:00 a.m. ET on Friday.
