A State Department official under investigation for allegedly creating "black list" of government employees thought to be disloyal to President Donald Trump has left her position, Politico reported Tuesday.
Mari Stull, dubbed the "Vino Vixen" due to her erstwhile career as a food and beverage lobbyist and a wine blog she published, was the target of two separate investigations into bullying and intimidation by Trump-appointed officials.
At the State Department, she served as a senior adviser in the department’s international organizations bureau.Her position put her in direct contact with the United Nations, despite being extremely critical of international organizations.
She also worked to thwart international organizations focused on the human rights of Palestinians and reproductive rights.
It's not yet clear what her next career move is.
