Donald Trump on Sunday evening gave his first reaction to President Joe Biden's decision to pardon his son, Hunter.
Biden earned applause from political insiders and onlookers alike after he made the announcement, in which he said that “raw politics” had infected the case.
Trump took to Truth Social to give his thoughts, ultimately turning his message into advocacy for those charged in the riot of Jan. 6, 2021.

"Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years?" Trump asked Sunday. "Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!"
Far-right Trump ally Laura Loomer cheered Trump's reply, writing, "President Trump just posted this on Truth Social in reaction to Joe Biden pardoning Hunter Biden tonight."
"Gee sound familiar?" she asked in response. "PARDON ALL J6 POLITICAL PRISONERS!"
