President Donald Trump bizarrely urged Democrats to "loosen up and have some fun" an hour after calling them "crazy."

The president started off his day quoting Fox News host Jesse Watters attacking fact-checkers as "fake news," and then reacting almost instantly to MSNBC's Joe Scarborough calling him lazy, and then moved on to attacking Democrats over immigration.

"The Democrats do not want us to detain, or send back, criminal aliens!" Trump tweeted at 8:18 a.m. "This is a brand new demand. Crazy!"

One hour later, Trump lashed out at his opponents as needlessly angry.

"The Democrats are so self righteous and ANGRY!" Trump tweeted at 9:19 a.m. "Loosen up and have some fun. The Country is doing well!"
