FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino may be looking for a job in the very near future because Donald Trump has grown weary of his act.
That is the opinion of Republican strategist Susan Del Percio on MSNBC on Sunday, where she claimed the president may rid himself of the former conservative podcaster who has created waves at the Department of Justice over differences of opinion on what is exactly in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
According to reports on Friday, Bongino never showed up for work on Friday after storming out on Attorney General Pam Bondi and reportedly giving Trump an ultimatum that either Bondi goes or he will quit.
Speaking with MSNBC's Alex Witt, Del Percio claimed Bondi will end up on top in the squabble that is roiling the DOJ.
Calling Trump's inner circle, "The gang that still can't shoot straight," she elaborated, "There may always be a group that are going to challenge 'what happened with Jeffrey Epstein? Is there a client list? Let me see the video.' But the administration itself gets its signals all crossed."

"That being said, don't put it past Donald Trump to fire Dan Bongino immediately because he has had enough," she predicted. "He does not like what he's seeing in Dan Bongino. Dan Bongino, from what I hear, really doesn't like working as hard as he's been working and has been figuring out his escape hatch, if you will, so this may have presented a time."
"I think where this is going to play out is that Trump will turn on Bongino before he does on Pam Bondi, no doubt for things that Don said. But the bigger question is, and I think this is what everyone's kind of keeping an eye out is, how will Donald Trump control the narrative, and will that narrative appease the MAGA base? Does he still have control? Because if he doesn't, that will have him all outraged and doing who knows what."
