President Donald Trump continues to fail at renting the first three floors of Trump Tower in Chicago," Crain's Chicago Businessreports.
The 64,000-square-foot riverfront space has sat mostly empty since the property opened a decade ago, though the Trump Organization and its brokers have rebooted their marketing efforts multiple times to attract tenants," Crain's noted.
The last attempt at marketing the space removed Trump's name from the brochure.
"Earlier this year, the name was conspicuously absent from a marketing brochure for the largely vacant commercial space in Donald Trump’s 92-story skyscraper along the Chicago River, "Crain's noted. "The yuge (sic) TRUMP sign on the side of the building was even missing from photos in the brochure, which identified the property simply by its address, 401 N. Wabash Ave."
"But a new brochure for the riverfront space leaves no doubt who built the high-rise, identifying it clearly as Trump International Hotel & Tower," Crain's reported. "That big, screaming sign? It’s there in the photos, too."
"It’s not clear that the new brochure will help brokers generate interest in the commercial space on the lower three floors of the building," Crain's added.
