Trump claims 'fake news' bashed Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address: 'I have a feeling that's going to happen with us'

President Donald Trump gave a relatively subdued speech in Billings, Montana on Thursday in which he predicted that his own legacy would be similar to that of Abraham Lincoln.

Toward the end of the speech. Trump became wistful as has recounted his own political path and then compared himself to Lincoln.

"You know when Abraham Lincoln made the Gettysburg Address speech—great speech—you know he was ridiculed? He was excoriated by the fake news. They had fake news... they said it was a terrible, terrible speech," Trump claimed.

Trump then predicted his fate would be the same.

"I have a feeling that's going to happen with us," Trump said.
