Trump directs AG Sessions to prepare memo on ban on gun modifications like bump stocks

In an address Tuesday afternoon, President Donald Trump stated that he has issued a memorandum to the Justice Department asking the Attorney General to ban bump stocks for rifles.

According to the president, he has asked the Justice Department to propose regulations to “ban all devices that turn legal weapons into machine guns.”
