'I counted six lies': Economist laughs out loud when asked to fact check Trump's new claim

Noted economist and professor Justin Wolfers appeared on MS NOW over the weekend, and was asked about the president's latest economic boasts.

"Under our administration,growth is exploding.Productivity is soaring.Investment is booming. Incomesare rising. Inflation isdefeated. America is respectedagain like never before. Andother than that, we're notdoing that well," Trump joked.

"Is all that true?" the host asked Wolfers.

He laughed out loud and then replied, "Very hard for me to keeptrack in my head right now, Alex, but I think I counted sixlies just as you played it.Just then. America's respectaround the world is actuallylower than it's been in decades.Inflation's not defeated. Hesaid incomes are exploding.They are actually up. InflationI think he said he'd gottenthat beat. What else did he sayin there?"

The host replied, "He said growth is exploding okay... that's a no," before going over the entire list again.
