President Donald Trump on Wednesday went off on an angry rant against Fox News, which has traditionally been his favorite cable news network.
In a series of furious tweets, Trump blamed the network for hiring liberal panelists such as Donna Brazile and Juan Williams, and said the network was letting millions of Trump supporters down by employing them.
"Just watched Fox News heavily promoting the Democrats through their DNC Communications Director, spewing out whatever she wanted with zero pushback by anchor, Sandra Smith," the president complained. "Terrible considering that Fox couldn’t even land a debate, the Dems give them NOTHING!"
The president then moved on to attacking other individual Fox News employees.
"Fox hires 'give Hillary the questions' Donna Brazile, Juan Williams and low ratings Shep Smith," he wrote. "HOPELESS & CLUELESS!"
The president concluded his rant by encouraging his fans to stop watching the network and find a source of news that is even more sycophantic to his presidency.
"The New Fox News is letting millions of GREAT people down!" he wrote. "We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!"
