Trump was climbing the stairs to the presidential plane when his left hand made an abrupt, jerking motion. A video of the incident was shared on social media, where several commentators chimed in about the president's poor health.
When the Daily Beast approached the White House for comment about the video, Stephen Cheung, Trump's communications chief, raged in response.
"You must be f------ blind or stupid, because that was a perfect walk!" Cheung told the outlet.
At age 80, President Trump has faced ongoing health concerns. Observers noted he appeared "totally spent" after traveling from a UFC event to the G7 Summit in France.
