President Donald Trump's gait and stance during his high-profile appearance with tech industry titans drew raised eyebrows late Tuesday.
The 80-year-old president spoke with reporters after a luncheon with tech executives, including Meta's Mark Zuckerberg, Nvidia's Jensen Huang, OpenAI's Greg Brockman and SpaceX's Elon Musk, at the White House on Tuesday, according to a report from the Daily Beast.
A video posted by his aide Margo Martin captured his "strange stance," with his leg looking "limp and his knee bending inward."
"It's definitely cognitive decline, but it's also giving ventriloquist dummy's dangling legs," observed liberal influencer Brooklyn Dad Defiant.
Doug Wahl, with over 80k followers on X, asked, "I'd seriously love to hear from some medical expert. Is this a sign that he has hurt his leg or is it somehow a sign of cognitive decline."
According to the report, "Trump was seen walking with apparent difficulty, appearing to drag his right leg behind him and move sluggishly."
"He's dragging that right leg again, and he can't walk in a straight line," said Ben Meiselas of MeidasTouch, reviewing the video.
Trump, the oldest person ever inaugurated as president, is frequently seen with "dark bruises on his hands," having mental slip-ups, slurring his words, and suffering from swollen ankles β a recurring pattern that has fueled ongoing speculation about his physical and cognitive fitness for office, even as the White House has repeatedly dismissed such concerns.
