Trump in 2012: Attorney Gloria Allred would be 'very impressed' with my penis size

Embattled Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump reportedly boasted about his penis size in a lurid 2012 back-and-forth with feminist attorney Gloria Allred.

The Daily Beast reported Saturday -- and Raw Story noted at the time of the offensive remarks -- that Trump boasted about the size of his genitalia during a legal case against Allred regarding a transgender beauty pageant contestant.

In 2012, Allred was hired by trans beauty contestant Jenna Talackova, who had been barred from competing in the Miss Universe pageant because she was not a "naturally born" woman.

At a press conference, Allred said that Talackova was being unfairly "excluded from a business opportunity" and sued for discrimination. During the press appearance, Allred pointed out that when Takackova -- a former Miss Canada -- applied to the Miss Universe pageant, she did not demand proof that Trump was a "naturally born" male.

"She did not ask Mr. Trump to prove that he is a naturally born man,” said Allred. “Or to see the photos of his birth, to view his anatomy to prove that he was male. It made no difference to her. Why should it have made a difference to him?”

Trump fired off an angry call to gossip network TMZ, who he told, "I think Gloria would be very very impressed with me, I really do. I think she’d have a whole brand new image of Donald Trump."

In the end, Trump relented and let Talackova compete, but joked that if he'd known Allred would be involved, he would have avoided the issue altogether.

On Friday, 2005 audio of Trump making crude and disgusting statements about women were abruptly leaked to the Washington Post, setting off a firestorm of controversy. He has issued an apology of sorts, but refuses to drop out of the race.

He is slated to debate Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton on Sunday night.
