Trump in ’92: Mike Tyson was the real victim of his rape conviction — he was 'never the same' after

With just weeks until Election Day, the Trump campaign looks to be having trouble staying afloat as new tales of Donald Trump's burning sexism and misogyny resurface everyday.

On Tuesday, CNN shared a 1992 radio interview between Trump and Howard Stern in which Trump calls boxing star Mike Tyson's rape verdict a "travesty," his reasoning being that Tyson was a victim of sexual advances from women.

It's been public knowledge for awhile that Trump is not "good for women," despite what he has said in countless interviews, debates, and on the campaign trail.

After the Washington Post leaked a disgusting tape from 2005 last Friday in which Trump talks about grabbing women by the "p*ssy" and how they let him do anything because he's famous, the GOP nominee has been under fire.

In the 2005 recordings, Trump is bragging about sexually assaulting women. In the 1992 interview about Mike Tyson, Trump is playing rape apologist.

He says to Stern that Tyson should have the option to pay off his victim, rather than having to serve time behind bars. Trump suggests, "The proceeds from his next fight, his next two fights for rape victims, and I think that's a lot better than having Mike Tyson serve jail for 10 years or something."

The real estate mogul adds, "He was so incredible and the last few years he's just not been the same — number one he's not been the same fighter, he's not been the same man, he's not been the same anything."

According to Trump, Tyson was the victim. He explains in the interview, "I've seen women going around touching him. He walks in a room and the women start grabbing him and grabbing his ass and grabbing anything else they can grab on him."
