Trump is distracting America from the looming Mueller report with George Conway drama: CNN analyst

As the controversy between President Donald Trump and George Conway  continues, a CNN panel hosted by Jake Tapper suggested that Trump keeps fanning the fire in order to distract America from his failures.

George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, called out the president and claimed his latest Twitter rant showed that he had a mental illness.

"He escalated his feud after Conway stated publicly questioning the president's mental fitness for office," Tapper said.

Jen Psaki, former White House Communications Director under Barack Obama, explained that Trump is a "marketing expert" and is using the tabloid drama to distract from real issues.

"We are not talking about the fact that he is in Ohio in a place where the plants are closing down and people are losing jobs even though he promised he would bring them back," Psaki said. "We are not talking about the ups and downs of the Mueller report. He is a marketing expert."

"Voters can care less," Journalist Tiffany Cross said. "It is very inside the Beltway. For the people out there worried about getting laid off or worried about health care expenses those things matter."
