Trump Jr lashes out at CNN's Jeff Toobin: 'Partisan liberal hack who masquerades as a journalist'

President Donald Trump's namesake child angrily lashed out at CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin on Tuesday.

Toobin had mocked Donald Trump, Jr. for comments trying to defend Judge Brett Kavanaugh against allegations of sexual assault made by multiple women.

“Every night I cry myself to sleep over the fate of white men in America. White men have no power, white men — I mean, it’s such garbage,” Toobin said on CNN.

The president's son replied to the segment on Twitter.

"What's actual garbage is a partisan liberal hack who masquerades as a journalist on CNN, attacking me for loving & caring about all my children," Trump, Jr. charged.

Toobin began freelancing for The National Review while attending Harvard Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude. In addition to providing legal analysis on CNN, he is a staff writer at The New Yorker.

"It’s scumbags like Jeffrey Toobin, who don't believe in the presumption of innocence that cause me to worry for my sons," Trump, Jr. argued.
