President Donald Trump was repeatedly interrupted during his election screed in Kansas on Monday night.
Trump stopped in Wichita, Kansas, to hold a rally in support of Republicans like Sen. Roger Marshall, who is facing a tough challenge from Democrat Adam Hamilton, who recently out-raised Marshall in the last quarter, according to The Topeka Capital-Journal. During the rally, Trump asked the crowd to pretend he was on the ballot, a claim he has repeated at similar rallies in other states.
As he spoke, a protester began to shout indiscriminately. The crowd reacted with boos, and Right Side Broadcasting Network's cameras captured several attendees directly behind Trump giving the protester the middle finger as they were escorted out.
"They're paid protesters, you know!" Trump told the crowd. "And it's actually very dangerous."
Another protester immediately started shouting back at the president and was drowned out in boos.
"How great is it to be at a Trump rally?" Trump said, and the crowd cheered loudly.
Another protester started heckling the president as he asked the crowd to "get out and vote" for early voting.
"You have to get out and vote, so we can get rid of idiots like that!" he said, pointing to the third protester as they were escorted out.
