President Donald Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk continued their feud on Thursday afternoon after Trump threatened to take away all of the billionaire's federal contracts.
"The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!" Trump said.
"This just gets better and better," Musk responded using laughing and crying emojis. "Go ahead, make my day …"
Musk then commented, "Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!"
The two former staunch allies have fallen out over Trump's 2026 budget bill, which Musk said adds too much to the deficit.
