Over the weekend, Ilhan Omar (D-MN) stirred up controversy by making statements perceived by some to be anti-Semitic. In a Twitter exchange, Omar suggested that AIPAC, the Israel lobby group, has an outsized influence on American lawmakers.

Omar promptly apologized, but the controversy didn't die down. On Tuesday President Trump called on Omar to resign, calling her apology "lame." Twitter reactions to the President's hypocrisy were brutal and swift, pointing to Trump's hypocrisy.
