Donald Trump appears to be wearing down due to daily trips to campaign in states where Republican lawmakers normally would be gliding to victory in the upcoming midterm election.
That is according to MS NOW host Stephanie Ruhle who suggested on Friday morning that the president looks desperate to forestall what is expected to be a Republican Party "bloodbath" in eleven days.
“We are just 11 days away from the midterms, Ruhle reminded her audience before adding, “As we come on the air today, I want to zoom in on the Republican anxiety over some of these red state Senate races. You can almost see the panic in Donald Trump's eyes when you look at his upcoming travel schedule.”
She noted, “Donald Trump tonight heads to Florida, a state he won by 13 points in 2024. Monday, he's headed to Mississippi, where he won by 22 points. And Tuesday he's headed back to Texas, where, of course, he won by 13 points. And on Wednesday he's headed to Ohio, which he won by 11 points.”
“Of course, the most shocking part of that travel itinerary has got to be Mississippi, where Democrats are spending more than $1 million for a late ad boost,” she continued before adding, “The state has not sent a Democrat to the Senate since Ronald Reagan was president.”
