President Donald Trump seemed dismayed Monday night after yet another protester disrupted one of his midterm rallies.
Trump hosted a rally at Crossroads Arena in Corinth, Mississippi, where he stumped for Republicans like Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith in what some analysts have described as an unexpectedly tight midterm race. During his speech, Trump claimed voters should support Hyde-Smith because she supported some of the Trump administration's economic policies. Those comments apparently didn't sit well with one of the attendees, who began shouting at the president while he spoke.
"I can't help Cindy Hyde-Smith any better than that," Trump said about the economy. "I don't have to stay up here any longer, and what I have done in the past is walk off the stage to the consternation of the people who protect us."
A protester then began shouting at Trump.
"Oh, go home!" the president snapped as the crowd began chanting "U.S.A."
Trump then insulted the protester, saying they "threw their life away" for protesting him.
"I was just at the punchline!" Trump told the crowd. "They always do it."
