Former President Donald Trump is giving speech to North Carolina Republicans on Saturday evening.
"A great honor to be speaking at the North Carolina GOP convention tomorrow night. I understand the place will be packed, all records broken!" Trump said in a statement Friday, even though the speech will only be before a crowd of 1,250.
It will be Trump's first major public appearance since he appeared at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February.
Allies of the former president are reportedly worried Trump will bring up the delusional conspiracy theory that he will be "reinstated" as president in August.
