Former President Donald Trump has often used campaign rallies as a way to fire up his supporters during election season.
However, The Guardian reported Monday that the former president's events don't seem to be having the same impact that they once did — and in some cases are even sowing doubts among one-time supporters.
A Pennsylvania businesswoman who only wished to be identified as "Jenny" told The Guardian that Trump's recent speeches have convinced her that she won't vote for him this year, even though she backed him twice in the past.
In particular, Jenny said that a recent Trump rally in her area "reminded me why I’m not going to vote for him this time."
"After listening to that, I’m actually afraid of Trump being president again," she revealed. "I don’t know what he was talking about half the time. Perhaps he was always like that, but he seems worse, more unstable."

Frank Scavo, a Pennsylvania Trump supporter, expressed concern to The Guardian about Trump's unfocused campaign speeches, which he said were heavy on personal grievances but low on policy.
"“My father keeps saying: ‘If I vote for Trump, what’s Trump going to do?’" Scavo explained. "And I’m thinking, if you’re asking me that, then Trump isn’t getting the job done because you should know what he’s going to do on day one... So how does Trump win? He stops with the personal narratives of ‘I was prosecuted, persecuted, tried’, and all the personal stuff against Kamala."
