President Donald Trump has officially filed a libel lawsuit against News Corp, Dow Jones, Rupert Murdoch, the Wall Street Journal, and two reporters at the Journal, Reuters reported Friday afternoon.
The news comes after the Journal reported Thursday night that President Donald Trump sent a message to Jeffrey Epstein along with a drawing as part of a book celebrating his 50th birthday.
Trump has denied it, claiming that he doesn't draw and that no such message was sent to Epstein.
On Friday morning, Trump raged that he was going to sue, commenting on Truth Social, "I look forward to getting Rupert Murdoch to testify in my lawsuit against him and his 'pile of garbage' newspaper, the WSJ. That will be an interesting experience!!!"
In other lawsuits, such as one against ABC News and CBS, the media outlets caved in, giving Trump's presidential library millions in a settlement.
The suit hasn't yet been released, but it was filed in the Southern District of Florida.
