Donald Trump on Sunday posted two words, and top MAGA personalities picked up the baton.
Trump over the weekend took to his own social media site, Truth Social, to express support for embattled longtime friend Rudy Giuliani, who also happens to be the former mayor of New York.
"SAVE RUDY!!!" Trump wrote in all caps.

That comment set MAGA's passions on fire, as is evidenced by posts on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Giuliani spokesman Ted Goodman said, "President Trump says we must #SaveRudy Mayor Giuliani lifted countless people out of poverty, took down the Mafia, cleaned up Wall Street, saved New York, and comforted the nation following 9/11. Thank you, President Trump. The politically motivated legal proceedings must end!"
Trump ally Michael R. Caputo asked, "What have we become?"
Andrew H. Giuliani, Giuliani's son, wrote, "Thank you President Trump!"
"SAVE RUDY!!!" younger Giuliani added.
Fox News contributor Sara A. Carter also chimed in:
"YES, Save Rudy… The Dems, Biden, Clinton sycophants weaponized the courts forcing Rudy to pay $140 million for questioning election integrity in a nation where we are supposed to be free to question," she wrote. "But the Democrats, including senior intelligence directors John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, Andy McCabe and so many more knowingly lied about [Trump] with a Russia Hoax (using foreign operatives like Christopher Steele and his fake dossier) to target our nation and President. I should know - John Solomon and I were the first to report on this mess."
Popular MAGA influencer Gunther Eagleman™ wrote, "America’s Mayor has been abused more than most under the Biden Stasi. SAVE RUDY!"
Novelist JP Vargas also replied, "He made New York great after the eighties and nineties. And that's how they chose to repay him. Then they proceeded to destroy his city and turn it into the dumpster fire is it now."
