President Donald Trump lashed out at The Atlantic magazine after top secret war plans were shared with a journalist from the outlet who was somehow added to a Signal chat group of defense officials.
On Monday, Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, revealed that he had been included in the secret chat group discussing strikes against Yemen earlier this month.
"I don't know anything about it," Trump insisted later on Monday. "I'm not a big fan of The Atlantic. To me, it's a magazine that's going out of business. I think it's not much of a magazine, but I know nothing about it."
Trump asked one reporter to explain the leak to him.

"They were using Signal to coordinate on sensitive materials," the reporter said.
"What were they talking about?" Trump pressed. "You mean the attack on the Houthis?"
"Well, it couldn't have been very effective because the attack was very effective," he added dismissively. "I don't know anything about it. You're telling me about it for the first time."
