VIDEO: Onlookers cheer as man flying giant 'Trump 2024' flag at Central Park skating rink gets taken down

A man who stormed a Central Park skating rink while hoisting a "Trump 2024" flag was tackled to the ground by a staff member as the crowd cheered, according to video that circulated the internet this week.

Another person standing nearby took the flag away after the man was tackled.

The Trump supporter, Dion Cini, was banned from all Disney properties for life in 2018 for his flag antics.

As PIX11 points out, Wollman Skating Rink is one of two Central Park ice skating rinks operated by the Trump Organization that were scheduled to be closed over the weekend before a last minute decision by New York Mayor Bill De Blasio kept them open for the rest of the season.

De Blasio previously said the city would end business contracts with the Trump Organization after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
